About the Role
Lyra Health is looking for an experienced content director to lead our team as we plan, create, and measure high-quality, high-performing content across multiple, global go-to-market programs.
Working closely with partners across marketing and external agencies, this individual will lead Lyra’s content strategy, developing programs that will support demand generation, establish and extend our brand and thought leadership, build strong connections with our customers, and promote our mission in transforming mental health care.
This leader will guide and support our content team as we conceive, execute, and measure our multi-channel content marketing strategy. This will include strategic planning, cross-functional leadership and collaboration with other teams, prioritization, standard-setting, and brand stewardship. In addition, this role will be responsible for supervising the content team’s creative output in terms of capacity, commitments, brand, and voice. The content marketing lead will also, in partnership with other stakeholders, be responsible for setting content performance objectives and then measuring and managing that performance. The successful candidate will be an exceptional writer and editor capable of ideating and producing content and supporting other team members in content development and execution.
Responsibilities
- Grow, develop, and lead our team of exceptional content marketing professionals who are consistently excited about the mission, feel confident in their ability to get work done, and have the skills to deliver consistently and effectively.
- Establish and drive global content strategy objectives in terms of brand storytelling, awareness, and thought leadership for your team, across marketing, and throughout Lyra.
- Work creatively and cross-functionally to support the needs of other teams with clarity, predictability, and transparency.
- Build and execute content program strategies and calendars that support and amplify our short- and long-term global marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Develop strategies that balance and leverage both human factors and technical (e.g., SEO) factors.
- Lead the creation of content that reflects a deep understanding of what prospects and customers need and want.
- Champion the Lyra Brand.
- Using a balance of creativity and data, leverage and analyze feedback from customers to improve the content experience.
- Lead measurement and reporting on content performance; make recommendations and optimize content based on results.
- Effectively manage contractors and agency resources as necessary to support business objectives.
- Manage objectives and budgets to plan.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of editorial experience, ideally in the Health or B2B tech/enterprise software space
- Proven team leader with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally, make hard decisions, collaborate, and motivate others
- Demonstrated passion for engaging customers with the work you create and oversee
- A thinker and a doer mindset—excited about driving strategy while maintaining the ability to roll up your sleeves to get into the work when needed
- Strong portfolio of published work that demonstrates exceptional editorial leadership, writing skills, and the ability to translate complex topics into simple, digestible content
- Experience developing and leading SEO best practices in content marketing and ability to leverage tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to deliver feedback thoughtfully and receive it gracefully
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail

Pay and Benefits
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-229,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
At Lyra, base salary is only one aspect of an employee’s total compensation package, which additionally may include discretionary restricted stock unit awards, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, and retirement benefits. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
