About the Role
Lyra Health is looking for a Director of Analytics to help drive strategy and execution for our centralized analytics team. This role will report to the VP of Analytics and will lead a growing team of Analytics Associates and Analytics Managers. You’ll use your experience and communication skills to increase the impact of our team and help evangelize our team’s mission with all cross functional partners. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the centralized analytics team that partners with our revenue organization
  • Grow your team through recruiting and retaining analytics talent 
  • Mentor and coach the team on analytics best practices, ensuring accurate, actionable and well communicated output
  • Coach managers on people leadership best practices and support career development
  • Ensure the right work is done at the right level of depth at the right time by partnering with internal stakeholders, distributed analytics teams and defining light processes
  • Collaborate with other Analytics leaders, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering and Data Science to define internal data projects (ie pipelines, infrastructure) to improve self service and increase Analyst efficiency
  • Deliver data driven insights, analysis and recommendations to pattern teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years of experience in analytics or related quantitative field
  • 6+ years of experience managing with 2+ years experience managing other people managers
  • Strong blend of business understanding and quantitative skills
  • Advanced analytics skills (SQL, stats, modeling)
  • Deep experience with Data Viz (like Tableau) and Data Warehousing (like Snowflake) tools
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience leading an analytics team at a fast growing tech company
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, balancing the need to deliver upon both short- and long-term outcomes
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically
  • A passion for delivering upon Lyra’s mission
  • BA or BS required, advanced degree preferred
