About the Role
You will be a critical team member in Lyra’s growing legal team to support internal stakeholders in fulfilling Lyra’s mission to bring mental and emotional health solutions to large employers across the country. This is a full-time role that will report to Lyra’s Corporate Counsel and can be located in the headquarters in SF Bay Area (Burlingame, California), or remote.  You will be expected to work independently in end-to-end administration of Lyra’s equity plan, contribute to our corporate governance, build processes and internal controls to increase team efficiency and support the legal team in projects as needed to support Lyra’s growth.

  • Manage day-to-day administration of the Lyra equity plan including responding to inquiries from stakeholders, processing new equity awards and grant agreements, reviewing equity transactions and processing employee terminations and cancellations
  • Support employee understanding of equity awards and the Company program and policies
  • Assist in global expansion of equity programs
  • Spearhead improvement of day-to-day operations and workflows related to equity administration and corporate governance
  • Assist with corporate governance support for all Lyra entities including maintaining a global entity structure database, managing corporate governance filings, maintaining corporate recordings including the minute book and other corporate entity needs
  • Assist in coordination of the formation or integration of new entities across the globe whether via new formation or acquisition
  • Provide support and project management for document and administrative needs in transactions (e.g., securities, financing and M&A transactions)
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to employees, management and other internal stakeholders
  • Support critical corporate matters for the company, working with cross-functional teams, including accounting, investor relations, finance, HR, and other legal specializations on a wide range of corporate legal projects, as needed
  • Provide practical and creative support on business matters in a fast-paced environment


  • Bachelor’s degree; CEP certification preferred
  • 6+ years experience as a corporate paralegal, stock administrator or other equity professional at a leading national firm or comparable in-house practice, with exposure to high growth technology companies.
  • Expertise with global equity programs and multiple equity award types 
  • Experience working with equity software systems (Carta, Shareworks, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, judgment, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
  • High personal standards of excellence and ethics, as well as the ability to act with discretion and sensitivity
  • Experience leading projects, including collecting, distilling, and summarizing issues from relevant stakeholders and moving projects forward
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed
  • Experience working in-house with a technology company and/or health care organization strongly preferred 
  • Experience with a global workforce is a plus
  • Ability to operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive attitude to the workplace
  • Sense of humor
