About the Role
Lyra Health is looking for a mental health subject matter expert with content development expertise, exceptional writing and presentation skills, and deep knowledge of mental health promotion to create psychoeducational content. This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with internal partners to develop learning content that demonstrates Lyra’s thought leadership with clarity, clinical accuracy, and research-backed insights. The right candidate will demonstrate the ability to translate research-backed mental health promotion and workplace wellness principles and best practices into engaging, easy-to-understand educational materials and tools, will have a track record as a subject matter expert on a broad array of mental health and behavior change topics and will be capable of collaborating effectively and efficiently with cross-functional partners. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the development and creation of innovative educational offerings 
  • Independently curate high-quality source material and create psychoeducational content including live instructional trainings, e-learning programs, and written materials
  • Assist with assessing learning and development needs and outcomes using surveys, interviews, and ongoing communication with key stakeholders
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert by consulting with cross-functional partners and reviewing externally facing materials for clarity and clinical accuracy

Requirements

  • A graduate degree (MA, MS, MSW, PhD, or PsyD) in clinical, counseling or organizational psychology, public health, health promotion, or clinical social work
  • Expertise in mental health promotion, workplace wellness, and/or corporate mental health and ability to explain research-backed best practices, interventions, skills, and tools fluently and clearly
  • Experience with developing engaging psychoeducational content for live presentations and written assets 
  • Professional experience working with internal and external stakeholders as a consultant or subject matter expert on mental health, mental health promotion, workplace wellbeing, and/or corporate mental health 
  • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with multidisciplinary colleagues and designers on content creationAbility to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the face of strict writing deadlines
  • Dynamic public speaking abilities
  • Familiarity with most commonly used corporate webinar platforms, including Zoom, Google Hangouts, Blue Jeans, and Cisco Webex

Preferred

  • Experience with e-learning content creation and use of learning management systems
  • Experience collaborating with marketing or communications teams to develop content and communication strategies that can be leveraged into a variety of formats
  • Knowledgeable of quality improvement and program evaluation best practices
  • Experience supervising and providing supportive, constructive feedback to clinicians, consultants, or instructors
