About the Role
Lyra Health is excited to welcome an experienced content strategist and writer to research and create high-engaging mental health assets for HR business leaders, people managers, and individual employees in global workforces. The right candidate is a talented storyteller who can develop marketing content that resonates with both customers (employers) and members (employees).
Working closely with marketing stakeholders and subject matter experts, this individual will play a critical role in helping our rapidly growing team draft and revise our short- and long-form collateral, including robust articles, communications guides, and flyers. The successful candidate will also be an editorial expert in making recommendations to iterate and improve existing content.

Responsibilities
- Execute and develop content strategies with copy that supports and amplifies our short- and long-term marketing initiatives
- Make recommendations to optimize content based on customer feedback
- Stay on top of marketing and mental health trends and pitch content ideas that will encourage readers to sign up for care
- Ensure brand alignment in copy through tone, voice, and terminology
- Review content and edit for clarity, brevity, effectiveness, and a11y/WCAG accessibility
- Collaborate with account managers and graphic designers to uphold branding across marketing deliverables
- Team up with subject matter experts to ensure clinical accuracy and relevance
- Be a champion for culturally responsive messaging that is delivered in ways that support individuals and also objectives of the customer
Qualifications
- 8+ years of editorial experience, at least 3+ in content marketing
- Engaging portfolio of published work that demonstrates exceptional writing skills and ability to translate complex topics into simple, digestible content
- Strong command of AP style, and upholding brand identity in a variety of formats
- Fluency in web accessibility (a11y), WCAG, alt text and POUR
- Ability to deliver feedback thoughtfully and receive it gracefully
- Understanding of copywriting tactics to activate readers at various parts of the marketing funnel/consumer journey
- Familiarity with tools such as Google suite, JIRA, Asana and Adobe
- Demonstrated skills in project management and the ability to multitask and prioritize projects autonomously
- Interest in professional development in a high-growth setting
Required
- Mastery of copywriting, specifically for marketing
- Knowledge of AP style/brand identity
- Training in accessibility
- Editing proficiency in Google, Word and Adobe platforms
- Ability to actively prioritize and collaborate in virtual settings and across time zones
- Advocate of cultural competency and sensitive to nuance of regional variations and geodynamic interpretations of mental health
Preferred
- Background in in health care or tech
- Familiarity with JIRA/Asana
- Experience managing freelancers
- History of working with graphic designers and tailoring copy to layout
- Comfortable in client/customer-facing meetings and poise when educating others on content execution
Pay and Benefits
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000-146,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
At Lyra, base salary is only one aspect of an employee’s total compensation package, which additionally may include discretionary restricted stock unit awards, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, and retirement benefits. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
