Customer story

Treasury needed a mental health partner for their end-to-end business
It was important for Treasury to find a mental health partner who could support their Napa-based employees, reach members who speak only Spanish, and also provide accessible care to workers across the Americas region. “Lyra has helped us bridge that gap by connecting us to mental health services experts who can work directly with our employees and their dependents, and they’re able to support our Spanish speaking populations,” said Sabhapathy.

Treasury Americas’ values-driven culture takes a holistic approach to employee wellness with mental health
Treasury Americas stands by the principle that in order for people to operate at their highest potential, an employee must be accepted at work as their whole self. “We believe in addressing all aspects of our employees’ wellbeing, be it physical, wellbeing, mental, emotional, or financial. All of these external factors, emerging from work, home or communities, have a direct impact on mental health,” explains Sabhapathy. “At Treasury, hardly do I see a business decision being made without evaluating the impacts on our employees. Our employee resource groups, our inclusion, equity and diversity strategies – they’re all embedded in everyday workings of our team members. Our people managers are expected not just to drive performance, but also to maintain a strong pulse of the wellbeing of their teams.”

Harnessing feedback to transform and support a healthy workforce
Treasury consistently relies on employee feedback to attract and retain their workforce. Within the first year of rolling out Lyra, approximately one quarter of their entire workforce registered for Lyra services; Treasury Americas credits their culture with removing potential hesitation or stigma around accessing mental health services. “At the end of the day, if the workplace culture doesn’t support the effort, then it falls flat. And what worked really well for us, is all the groundwork we have done to establish and enhance a positive and supportive workplace environment,” said Sabhapathy. The company looked beyond the enrollment numbers and surveyed employees anonymously for input about their experiences with Lyra. “The overwhelmingly positive feedback that we received and how our team members have seen improvements in their own situation, those anecdotes speak volumes for us. I’m really grateful to Lyra for their partnership,” said Sabhapathy.

“I am having a great experience with Lyra. If this benefit was not available and so accessible, I don’t know that I would have reached out for help at all. It is really an important benefit that I truly hope can become standard.” — Treasury Americas employee
