How does Lyra’s support model differ from an EAP?
Lyra reimagines mental health care by delivering fast access to high-quality, evidence-based therapy, and medication management. Unlike traditional EAPs and health plan networks, which are often plagued by ghost networks, long wait times, unnecessary costs, and inconsistent provider quality, Lyra connects members with top-tier clinicians in as little as one day and ensures every provider uses science-backed treatments. Companies can reduce overall benefit costs by fully replacing traditional EAPs and shifting most health plan therapy to lower-cost, higher-quality Lyra care while helping 9 in 10 people recover.
Does Lyra offer care for the entire family?
When kids thrive, families thrive—which is why many employers extend Lyra benefits to eligible dependents, including spouses/partners, teens, and kids ages 0–17. Lyra offers the largest evidence-based provider network for youth in the U.S., and our Center of Excellence for Pediatric Mental Health makes it easy for parents to find support for the full spectrum of needs, from proactive screenings and early intervention, to specialty care for high-acuity needs and neurodiversity.
How does Lyra help members navigate when they need higher levels of care?
When mental health needs intensify, navigating referrals, facilities, and insurance coverage can be overwhelming. Lyra helps remove that burden through coordinated, hands-on support.
Lyra Care Navigators guide members through the process, confirming that recommended higher levels of care, such as step-up or inpatient services, are in network with the member’s health plan before initiating referrals. The treating facility then bills the member’s health plan directly, helping ensure a smoother experience.
After completing a higher level of care, Care Navigators stay closely involved, helping members transition back into appropriate step-down care through Lyra. This continuity helps reduce gaps in care and supports more sustainable, long-term recovery.
How can I access care through Lyra?
Individuals can access care at Lyra through an employer benefit. You may also be eligible for specialty services at Lyra through an in-network health plan or via direct referral from a primary care or specialty care provider.

From everyday support to specialized care, Lyra meets evolving needs at every stage.
